๐Ÿงช Testing a ReviveAI Agent

This document outlines the ideal end-to-end process for testing a custom ReviveAI-built agent before full deployment. It includes the steps our internal team carry out and then handover to you, ensuring quality, alignment, and rapid iteration.

โœ… 1. Pre-Test Checklist

Before testing begins, ensure the following are complete:

  • โœ”๏ธ Agent build is complete and reviewed internally
  • โœ”๏ธ Core use cases are defined (e.g., lead qualification, support triage)
  • โœ”๏ธ CRM or integration connections (if any) are set up
  • โœ”๏ธ Sample data is available for realistic testing
  • โœ”๏ธ Client stakeholders have access to the test environment

๐Ÿ” 2. Internal QA Testing (ReviveAI Team)

Objective: Ensure the agent performs correctly against predefined test cases.

Actions:

  • Run the agent through a variety of conversation flows
  • Test edge cases and unexpected inputs
  • Confirm correct handoffs, data capture, and CRM syncing
  • Log any bugs or logic gaps

Deliverables:

  • Internal QA log with issues, fixes, and status
  • Final QA approval before client access

๐Ÿค 3. Client UAT (User Acceptance Testing)

Objective: Allow the client to test the agent in a controlled, private environment.

Client Actions:

  • Test the agent via shared preview link or staging widget
  • Run through expected user journeys and inputs
  • Check:
    • Accuracy of responses
    • Brand tone and language
    • Data capture and CRM sync (if applicable)
    • Handling of unknown or edge-case questions

Suggested Tools:

  • Shared feedback doc (Google Docs or Notion)
  • Loom videos for walkthroughs
  • ReviveAI feedback widget (if enabled)

๐Ÿ—‚๏ธ 4. Structured Feedback Loop

Feedback Format:

Where possible please use the format on the shared testing document. This is split into the below categories.

  • Issue/Observation: Brief description of what happened
  • Expected Outcome: What they expected the agent to do
  • Actual Outcome: What the agent did instead
  • Priority: High / Medium / Low

ReviveAI Actions:

  • Review and triage feedback
  • Categorize into:
    • Content updates
    • Logic/flow adjustments
    • Integration issues
    • UI or UX recommendations
  • Implement fixes in sprints (1โ€“2 business days per iteration)

๐Ÿ“ฆ 5. Final Sign-Off & Deployment Prep

Once feedback is resolved:

  • Conduct final walkthrough with client stakeholders
  • Confirm:
    • Agent meets all agreed use cases
    • CRM/other system integrations work as expected
    • Branding and tone are approved
  • Prepare for production deployment

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ 6. Post-Launch Monitoring (Optional)

After going live:

  • Enable logging and analytics
  • Monitor conversation quality, fallback rates, and engagement
  • Schedule a check-in after 1 week to gather early insights

๐Ÿ” Tips for Smooth Testing

  • Use real-world examples, not ideal scripts
  • Test mobile and desktop environments
  • We encourage client testers from multiple departments to ensure varied feedback that covers as many cases as possible
  • Iterate fast and communicate clearly
